Northwest Fishing Expeditions operates on the Columbia River and the Snake River for Spring and Fall Chinook Salmon. Working from Buoy 10 up the Columbia River fishing Bonneville Dam, Drano Lake, and on the Snake River from Ice Harbor Dam, Little Goose Dam, Lower Granite Dam, and Heller Bar area out of Asotin, Washington.
We fish for Spring Chinook and Fall Chinook Salmon(Up River Brights) using an assortment of methods from Back Bouncing, Back Trolling and Side Drifting. Spring Chinook Salmon(Springers) are known to be the premier table fair of the Chinook. Springers weigh an average of 10-15 pounds, but can easily top the scales at over 25 pounds. Fall Kings have an average weight of 20 pounds with several bruisers reaching the 40-50 pound mark!
